NINGANA LAUNCHES RANGE OF FINE FOODS
In what is believed to be a first for the disability sector, Griffith’s Ningana Enterprises has launched a range of fine food preserves created from its farm in Tharbogang.
Ningana’s preserves have been created from fresh produce grown at the farm traditionally sold at local and Melbourne markets. Ningana has branched out and developed a range of five new fine food products – strawberry jam, orange marmalade, spicy pumpkin relish, tomato relish and a unique product, Strawberries on Top.
Westpac Catalyst Grant: SUCCESS!
NEI is delighted to announce its success in the Westpac Catalyst Grants announced in May 2012. NEI is one of eight recipients of a $50,000 grant to assist in the development of NEI’s Organic Market Garden (Farm). These funds will be used to plant a caper crop, a niche gourmet food crop suited to the Riverina’s hot climate in summer. We are now eligible to apply for the Westpac Employee Choice Grant valued at $50,000 which will be announced in July 2012. The three short film clips of Ningana’s CaperAbilities can be found on www.youtube.com:
