Ningana Enterprises Inc. is a Disability Support Service situated in Griffith, NSW. At NEI we aim to provide:
- A comprehensive range of services that meet the needs of people with a disability and their families and carers throughout their lives and as their needs change.
In order to meet this aim, NEI operates a number of individual services to cater to the needs of people with a disability and their families. These services include:
- Supported Employment through its Australian Disability Enterprises
- Supported Accommodation and Community Living Services
- Day Programs incorporating Community Participation, Life Choices and Transition to Work
- Flexible centre-based and in-home respite services for parents and carers of children and adults with a disability
NEI operates two successful Australian Disability Enterprises, NEI Packaging that provides wine labelling and packaging services to local industry and NEI Organics which produces fresh and bottled food products.
NEI supports over 100 people with a disability and their families across the Riverina Murray and employs 40 full-time and part-time staff across all the services.

NINGANA
LAUNCHES RANGE OF FINE FOODS
In what is
believed to be a first for the disability sector, Griffith’s Ningana
Enterprises has launched a range of fine food preserves created from its
farm in Tharbogang.
Ningana’s
preserves have been created from fresh produce grown at the farm traditionally
sold at local and Melbourne markets. Ningana has
branched out and developed a range of five new fine food products – strawberry
jam, orange marmalade, spicy pumpkin relish, tomato relish and a unique
product, Strawberries on Top.

Westpac Catalyst Grant: SUCCESS!
NEI is delighted to announce its success in the Westpac Catalyst Grants announced in May 2012. NEI is one of eight recipients of a $50,000 grant to assist in the development of NEI’s Organic Market Garden (Farm). These funds will be used to plant a caper crop, a niche gourmet food crop suited to the Riverina’s hot climate in summer. We are now eligible to apply for the Westpac Employee Choice Grant valued at $50,000 which will be announced in July 2012.
